Hello again!
The end of July took us to Amy's hometown of Traverse City. It's sort of interesting how not only did her family begin in this great city, but so did mine. We went up this time for the Harvey Reunion.
Just so you know that's Amy's Mom's family. We got up there just in time for lunch. We had the pleasure of eating great food and Alex had the ultimate excitement of meeting his cousins for the first time! (That he can remember at least).
As you can see the boy got along very well. Let me see if I can remember them all. There's (counter clock-wise starting at the bottom) Spencer, Tyler, Preston, *ugh, I can't remember*, and of course Alexander.
There was also time for Polish horseshoes and catch with the baseball.
But the reunion time, although lots of fun, wasn't all that we did. Alex also had fun in the water with his Uncle Matt and Uncle Shawn (actually cousin), but he loved it and even had a chance to ride a jetski with Momma and fish with Papa!
Yes, that's me with the strange shirt and hat! Ugh! Don't say it! I know what you will say. I look like my Dad. If you haven't met him, you will get to seem him soon enough on this website. Just keep checking back. Now, where is that picture of Alex on the jetski. Ahh! There it is.
It was really neat to see Amy's bestfriend, Amy and her husband Dennis. We both got to see for the first time their little miracle baby, Branden. God is so awesome when it comes to showing us His Love through children. He shows us that all the time. While we were in T.C. he showed us a couple more. One with our friends the Choikes' and another with a Grandma and her precious boy.
